Mellon Europe| Employee communications

Mellon Europe decided to merge its nine operating companies in London into one new building. This involved moving 2,500 people. We were asked to produce a reference guide for the new building. From our experience of internal communications, we felt that employees needed more.

The move involved sharing a great deal of information with a large number of people. We recognised that without a consistent identity, much of this vital information would be lost in the noise of everyday communications. This struck a chord with Mellon. They asked us to develop an identity for all employee communications around the move, which would not only inform, but also instil a sense of involvement.


Mellon wanted to express togetherness. We took the themes of people and of movement to express this, using a series of eye-catching silhouettes to capture the idea. The illustrations became the theme for an integrated campaign featuring literature, presentations, html mailers and the intranet.
